The bragging rights at the top of the Dulais Valley belong to Seven Sisters after a narrow 10-9 win at the expense of their hosts. In a typical derby, neither team dominated and the game was a tense encounter which mustered a solitary try through Seven Sisters openside flanker Huw Whitney after some excellent back play from Kevin Lewis and his centre partner Richard Lewis. Scrum Half Kevin Lewis converted and added a late penalty to seal victory after Banwen had threatned to steal victory with Fly Half Phil Evans slotting over two penalties and a drop goal to push Banwen ahead.
