Banwen recorded their first league win of the season with a narrow 21-20 victory over local neighbours Skewen. Hero of the day was debutant fly half Phil Evans who slotted over a 11 point haul which included 2 penalties, a drop goal and a conversion of No 8 Darren David's try . The home side's scoring was completed by hooker Daniel Morgan.
